Each student enrolled in Summer School is required to pay a $50 non-refundable processing fee. This is a one-time fee applied on a per-student basis: should a single student enrol in more than one Summer School course, they will only be required to pay the processing fee once.

Additional Fees

Some courses also require an extra fee in addition to the processing fee. This additional fee is used to cover costs for materials and activities related to each course. Additional fees will apply for the following Summer School courses:

  3. Make Payment: Follow the prompts to make the payment securely online. We accept various payment methods for your convenience.
  4. Book Distribution: Upon receiving payment, we will begin the process of distributing summer school books. Please ensure that payment is made promptly to avoid any delays in receiving the necessary materials.

Mature Students

Summer School is also open to mature (adult) students, for an additional fee of $110/credit.

A mature student, for Alberta High School Diploma purposes, is one who, as of September 1 of the current school year, is either:

  • 19 years of age or older, or
  • The holder of a previously awarded high school diploma from the province of Alberta, or an equivalent high school diploma from a jurisdiction acceptable to the Minister of Education.

Paying Fees

Payment for CFL Summer School must be made before or during course material pick-up.

  • Fee payments can be made online through the PowerSchool Parent Portal, debit, credit, cash, or cheque.
  • Please make cheques payable to "The Parkland School Division."
