Travel for Credit is an educational partnership between Parkland School Division and EF Educational Tours, allowing students to earn high school credits while exploring academically relevant destinations. This program combines summer school coursework with immersive travel experiences, fostering global awareness and real-world learning.
How It Works:
- Info Nights (Fall): Attend in-person or virtually to learn more.
- Apply: Submit your application to EF Tours.
- CFL Process: Complete the required steps and application with Connections for Learning.
- Meetings: Successful applicants will attend a few meetings throughout the year to receive information and prepare.

For 2025, the program will take students for 9 days (Late July, dates to be confirmed) through Paris and Nice, France, where they will complete Digital Media courses. The following course modules are included:
- COM1005: Visual Composition
- COM1055: Web Design 1
- COM1105: Audio Video
- COM1205: Photography – Introduction
- COM2205: Photography Composition
- COM2215: Photography Communication
- COM3245: Photography – Outdoor
- HCS 2020: First Aid
